Quick Easy Eco-friendly Crochet Bag – Daisy Clutch

Daisy clutch crochet bag blog post title picture

Sunshine just makes everything better doesn’t it? So after a Winter in Lockdown and a year of very limited socialising, thoughts of summer flowers, picnics and garden parties with friends filled my mind.

This was my chief inspiration for the Darling Daisy Clutch, a perfectly summery crochet bag, that’s just the right handy size for parties (and weddings – who remembers them?).

It had to be yellow and it had to have daisies! That’s my summery happiness right there in bag form!

I do love a quick and eco-friendly make, so naturally a bulkier recycled yarn was the strongest contender for my yarn choice.

I chose the amazing Hoooked Ribbon XL in gorgeous bright yellow (Lemon colourway) to work up my cheery bag and found a deliciously cute daisy fabric for the perfect lining, on Amazon.

Of course the Darling Daisy Clutch will look utterly fabulous in ANY colour and I can’t wait to see all the colours you amazing crocheters choose (scroll down to see my testers gorgeous bags).
