I have a fun idea to share more free patterns with you. I thought I would collab with other designers to give you a free pattern every Friday.
I’ve been part of some great blog hops with lots of different designers and I’m really enjoying the community feel and togetherness of them. So I’d love to have something regularly on my blog to encourage this community spirit.
Being a very busy Mum of 3 I don’t have much time so running a blog hop isn’t on the cards yet, but definitely one day! So, I thought a ‘Free Pattern Friday’ feature would be a simple way to work with other designers to give you a free pattern every week.
So for my very first Free Pattern Friday I present to you….
Otis the Owl – by my dear friend Ashley from The Loopy Lamb.

Otis the Owl is a tiny little owl that fits in the palm of your hand. He is quick and easy to make and just SO adorable from the top of his head to his tiny little feet!
I’m completely in love with this little guy and I think you will be too.
Ashley makes the most adorable amigurumi along with other gorgeous patterns ranging from headwear and scarves to stunning bags. All her patterns are free on her blog! How amazing is that? So many wonderful patterns available to you.
I’ve been ‘virtual’ friends with Ashley for a couple of years now and my children love her cute amigurumi patterns, they’re always guaranteed to make them squeal with delight when I show them her photos.
If you’ve not used faux fur yarn before or it scares you, don’t be put off, Ashley has lots of experience using it to create the sweetest wee creations and has produced a guide on how to use it that you might also want to check out… Tips and Tricks for Crocheting with Faux Fur Yarn she even has a YouTube video link in the post too!
Otis is such a little cutie that he’s definitely worth having a try with faux fur for, don’t you think? I just wanna scoop him up and hug him! You never know you might become completely addicted and make lots of little fluffy furry new friends.

Go check out his pattern now HERE and have lots of fun making him.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Free Pattern Friday, let me know what you think in the comments. Why not sign-up to my newsletter so you don’t miss any featured patterns and you’ll also get exclusive discounts on my own pattern releases.
Please share this fun post and Pin it to help others find it and make their own adorable wee Otis Owl.

Oh my goodness, so cute ❤️
Your link doesn’t work. It goes to her blog but says the page can’t be found
Thank you so much for letting me know, the link must’ve been corrupted from a recent update. It’s fixed now. Thanks again, Jan
